Pablo's room
Finally I finished decorating Pablo's room and I'm quite happy with the result....
My favorite are the inexpensive bamboo boxes that i used to keep his throphies and his favorite pokemon
and............. the black wall that gives him the freedom to draw and write notes....
I found that Real Madrid T-shirt lamp at Ace Hardware, he was so happy because that's his favorite football team....it touched my heart to see him so proud of his room.
Now the girls are waiting impatiently when I'm going to finish decorating her room. Be patient Girls....

Living Bali way
What is good about Bali is the freedom of becoming who we trully are. We called our daughter Alia "the artist in the family" since she loves drawing. Bali definetely suit her well... she has the whole beach to draw on.... At the end of the day i was so lucky to be able to get her photo playing during sunset....Alia...alia...you are a free soul...

The New Chapter : First adventure " The Menjangan West Bali National Park"
Finally after 4 years dreaming of moving to Bali, July 15 2011 we officially moved to live there. It was a big change from a hectic city like Jakarta to a relaxing island like Bali.
We knew the island quite well, as we came 3 - 4 times a year. Having a little apartment there made things easy, but still....... we were nervous about it. This will not be the same....would we adjust well?
Honestly I am a big city girl... traffic, noise, hectic schedule was a part of me and strangely...i still enjoy it.
Moving to Bali was my husband's dream.... I guess its worth a try.

Moving to Bali was my husband's dream.... I guess its worth a try.
To avoid the stress of moving...the hustle of unpacking, organising...we took our first adventure of knowing more about Bali as a "soft landing" as my husband said. So the next day with Jose and his family we left for Menjangan, gilimanuk, a resort on a national park. From our area at Kerobokan it took 5 hours driving.....not bad, huh?! But as you can see, it's rewarding

New Lamps collection - Tan Living
The New Collection of Lamps had arrived at Tan Living. My son named the rattan floor lamp "Daddy long legs" He said it look like one type of spider. Isn't that a scary name for such a beautiful lamp like this one?

Sabrina's room
I was helping my sister redecorate the room of her daughter. Since she is working 9 to 5...i was incharged in looking for whatever we need for the room. Funny thing was, when i saw this wall sticker...the ladybug brought to my mind the cuteness of my niece...Sabrina, so I couldn't help myself from buying it.
It match perfectly to the color of the room. I painted one side of the wall striped, peach combined with very light yellow. It made the room cozy, warm and playful. My sister was so happy...and Sabrina was so happy with her new bed. She kept going up and down the bed.
This cabinet is nice idea for children's room. I found it in House & Garden magazine. I'm going to make one for Sabrina, so She could keep her toys there.

O PORTO - PORTUGAL
Last Christmas holiday we manage to escape one day to O Porto, Portugal which is just 2 hours driving from Pontevedra, Spain (the hometown of my husband)
What caught my attention was the old buildings. It was a beautiful city. A bit abandon though.
We let ourself got lost in "casco antiguo" or known as the old area, walking through small streets....going up and down. Fantastic....!!!
It was Saturday...and people enjoying their day in the cafe along the river. I was touched to see this old couple....they really enjoyed each other companies....talking and laughing.
On our way back to the car, we found this graffiti painted on a garage door. isn't that beautiful?

Contemporary Gerobok
i love this piece!! adaptation of traditional gerobok into a bar furniture from Tabu Design http://www.tabu-life.com/ It came in white and black with red color inside. I found this at Tan Livinghttp://www.tan-living.com/ Not only beautiful but functional at the same time.
My first contribution for Home Living
I love kids furniture...it's cute and inspiring, but what would be the solution when our budget didn't allow us to buy new furniture when they grow up? I prefer to play safe. Choose furniture that they still can use when they grow up. Better if it has multifunction. Put bright colors to make it more playful and...since kids love to draw, a blackboard on the wall is perfect for them.
As kids communicate their thought through drawing, it's nice to have their drawings hanging. Alia, my second daugther draw this picture when she was 5 ( she's 9 now). The title of this drawing is "myself potrait ala Frida Kahlo" She drew herself in Flamenco dress "because I'm half Spanish" she said, " and "next to me is my favorite animal, lion" Until today we still have this picture hanging in her room.
Since I like having my house neat I used lots of boxes to storage things, baskets for the toys, multipurpose box like this one for keeping the accessories. In a way that teach them to be organized.
